Bow Tie Pasta with Tomatoes and Bacon

5 slices bacon, cut into 1 inch pieces
1 medium onion, finely chopped
1 can diced tomatoes with garlic and onion
1 can chicken broth
3 cups uncooked bow tie pasta

In a big skillet cook bacon pieces until done. Reduce heat and add onion and cook until onion is tender (2-3 mins). Stir in tomatoes, broth, and uncooked pasta. Heat until boiling, then reduce and simmer for 10-12 minutes until pasta is done. Remove from heat and let stand for 3-5 minutes.

So we are having this tonight and then i just remembered that the GUMBO recipe is in your book, at your house! i will have to look it up because that is what we are having tomorrow, with some cornbread on the side. i'll let you know the verdicts!
